Share This Provost Debra Liebowitz is hopeful, even optimistic, about the Spring 2021 semester. After a sweeping review of the academic schedule, Quinnipiac will offer students more than a 150 percent increase in the number of on-ground instructional minutes this spring compared to last fall.
But this outcome didn’t happen overnight.
Last summer, university leaders confronted the fallout from the COVID-19 pandemic: How do you adjust to the real world in real time? How do you teach remote students who live across the country and around the world? More importantly, how do you keep everyone safe?

Ruth E. Straub, 73, of Williamsport, passed away peacefully surrounded by family Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2021. Surviving is her husband of 51 years, David B. Straub, who was the absolute love of her life.
Born Jan. 24, 1947 in Abington, she was a daughter of the late William and Marie (Willard) Wright.
Ruth’s greatest roles in life were raising her family, making her house a home and serving the Lord. She took great pride in her organization skills and paying attention to details. She instilled values of faith, family and hard work in her children and led by example, helping provide for her family by harvesting and canning from her large garden.
