May 20, 2021 SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Arizona Women s Golf s quest for its fourth national championship begins on Friday, May 20 at 7:36 a.m. (MST) when the Wildcats tee off at the NCAA Championships at Grayhawk Golf Club. Arizona advanced to NCAA Championships for a 23rd time in program history following its thrilling run through the Stanford Regional two weeks ago. The ladies are playing great golf right now, and I was proud to see them rise to the occasion under pressure at regionals to get us to the championships, said head coach Laura Ianello. To be playing our best golf at this time of year, with NCAA championships at a desert course, it is a very exciting time for our program. We ve seen this course before, seen what desert golf has to offer, and I don t think our team is going to be intimidated by this setting.

The Florida women’s golf team found itself in a tie for eighth with Northwestern after the team shot a 6-over-par 290 Monday.  Junior Clara Manzalini led the way for Florida. She served as a bright spot in an otherwise lackluster day for UF and was the only Gator to break par. The Milan, Italy native tallied a team-high five birdies on the day and wrapped up her round with a 2-under-par 69. Mazalini is in a tie for seventh on the individual leaderboard.

The Gators are set to compete at the NCAA Regionals in Stanford, California, this week. The Florida women’s golf team heads west to compete in the NCAA Regionals in Stanford, California starting Monday.   The NCAA Regional is composed of three rounds of stroke play to end on Wednesday. This week s regional is being hosted at Stanford Golf Club. The course is held in high regard and has served as host to U.S. Open Qualifying, Women’s NCAA Championships, Pac-12 Championships and the USGA Junior Amateur Qualifying.

Mariah Stackhouse Girls Invitational to run September 2-4, 2021 Stanford, CA – The American Junior Golf Association is excited to partner with LPGA tour professional Mariah Stackhouse in hosting the Mariah Stackhouse Girls Invitational at Stanford Golf Course. The four-day all-girls invitational will run from September 2nd through 4th at Stackhouse’s alma mater Stanford University. “My AJGA experience was invaluable in my growth both as a golfer and as a person, so I am delighted to be able to help provide an opportunity for the best girl golfers in the world to display their skills at a place that is so special to me, Stanford University,” said LPGA Professional Mariah Stackhouse. “Thank you to the AJGA, Stanford, the AJGA Girls Championship and Scott Timmins Hipp for making this possible.”
