SINGAPORE Logistics giant UPS has moved Asia-Pacific PR duties to Zeno after 19 years with Ogilvy, PRovoke can reveal.
The decision follows a competitive review that took place in late 2020. The remit covers UPS regional communications strategy, media relations and external content development, with an estimated value in the high six-figure range, including mainland China, Japan, Korea and Southeast Asia. We are excited to work with Zeno to cement UPS’ status as a global logistics provider moving our world forward by delivering what matters, said Kara Ross, UPS president of international communications, digital and executive affairs.

Poon will be Ogilvy’s first female leader of the Ogilvy, Public Relations & Influence business in Asia.
Ogilvy has appointed Emily Poon President of Public Relations & Influence in Asia. Poon, currently Managing Partner of Ogilvy PR & Influence in Singapore, succeeds Scott Kronick who is stepping down from his current leadership role and will become a senior adviser at the company.
As part of Ogilvy’s Asia leadership team, Poon will be responsible for driving continued client-centric innovation, business growth and deepening capabilities for the PR&I business in the region. Poon will report to Asia Co-Chief Executives, Kent Wertime and Chris Reitermann in her new role, and will work closely with the PR&I global network of leaders and Richter to drive the continued success and growth of the PR&I business.

Ogilvy has announced the appointment of Emily Poon as President of Public Relations & Influence in Asia. Poon, currently Managing Partner of Ogilvy PR & Influence in Singapore, succeeds Scott Kronick who is stepping down from his current leadership role and will become a senior adviser at the company.
This appointment, effective January 1, follows the recent announcement that Julianna Richter is joining Ogilvy in January as Global CEO of PR & Influence.
