The GSX-R1000 is Suzukiâs flagship track weapon, but doesnât meet Euro 5 norms as of now
Reports suggest Suzuki Motorcycles could be updating its flagship track weapon, the GSX-R1000, for 2022. This doesn’t come as a surprise as the litre-class offering from Team Suzuki hadn’t yet been updated to comply with Euro5/BS6 emission norms. The GSX-R1000 currently sits second to the legendary Hayabusa (family name - GSX-1300R) in Suzuki’s GSX-R lineup.
With the ‘Busa having gotten its most significant update yet, the GSX-R1000 has some ground to cover if it wants to become the most advanced Gixxer in the lineup once again.

To keep up with the competition, manufacturers arrange and rearrange their offerings, and the latest one to have got under similar chop-and-change is the 2021 Suzuki GSX-S1000.
Right off the bat, you see how strikingly different its front fascia is. The bike gets a vertically stacked LED headlight flanked by LED turn indicators (think of the Yamaha MT-09?).
Suzuki has also provided the GSX-S1000 with textured radiator shrouds and winglets inspired by its MotoGP race bikes. The side panels get an urban camouflage finish. However, it seems that the new offering still continues to feature an LCD digital display instead of a modern TFT unit.

Suzuki is hoping to close this financial year with some good sales numbers. By availing of this offer, you get accessories worth Rs 65,000 for free on the purchase of the V-Strom 650XT. The list includes an accessory bar, an aluminium chain guard, and a centre stand.
For the second component of the offer, customers can either claim an exchange benefit worth Rs 50,000 or an insurance benefit up to Rs 40,000. The exchange policy is only valid on 350cc+ motorcycles.
