The GSX-R1000 is Suzukiâs flagship track weapon, but doesnât meet Euro 5 norms as of now
Reports suggest Suzuki Motorcycles could be updating its flagship track weapon, the GSX-R1000, for 2022. This doesn’t come as a surprise as the litre-class offering from Team Suzuki hadn’t yet been updated to comply with Euro5/BS6 emission norms. The GSX-R1000 currently sits second to the legendary Hayabusa (family name - GSX-1300R) in Suzuki’s GSX-R lineup.
With the ‘Busa having gotten its most significant update yet, the GSX-R1000 has some ground to cover if it wants to become the most advanced Gixxer in the lineup once again.

Ninja fans donât get too excited, the mighty ZX-14R wonât come to India, find out why.
Kawasaki has taken the wraps off the updated 2021 Ninja ZX-14R, its highest capacity sportsbike, in the US.
For 2021, the Japanese giant has given the Ninja ZX-14R a fresh lick of paint, rather than a complete overhaul. It is now offered in a new Pearl Storm Gray/Metallic Diablo Black colour scheme. The new colour scheme bids adieu to the green accents of the 2020 model and switches to sportier red accents coupled with a metallic black finish that gives off a Kawasaki Ninja H2 vibe.
Pre-bookings for both bikes have opened at select dealerships
Ducati is all set to launch the BS6 Panigale V4 and the Diavel 1260 in June
Some dealerships have commenced pre-bookings at a token amount of Rs 1 lakh.
Both bikes will arrive in two variants - Standard and S.
Ducati recently launched the Streetfighter V4, the most powerful naked bike ever, in our country. And now, the Italian powerhouse seems all set to expand its BS6 lineup with the Streetfighter’s faired sibling, the 2021 Panigale V4, and the 2021 Diavel 1260. Both are expected to make their debut in the first week of June. Some dealerships have even started accepting pre-bookings for both bikes at a token amount of Rs 1 lakh.
It blends the track-ready R6 and the street dominating MT-07 into a potent package
Yamaha has taken wraps off its latest mid-capacity sports bike, the YZF-R7. Here are its top five aspects:
Edgy From Head To Toe
The R7 might be an all-new offering but it looks right in line with Yamaha’s existing (and discontinued) R-badged offerings, thanks to its radical fascia featuring fang-like LED DRLs and the Yamaha M1-inspired air intake. Between the air intake is the R7’s exclusive single-pod projector headlamp, a first for the R lineup. Moving forward, its new fuel tank and fairings compliment the sharp appeal, giving it a hot summer bod. At the tail end, its resemblance to the R6 becomes more significant, thanks to the similar taillight and seat along with the aerodynamic spoilers.
