Itâs been 662 days since concertgoers have flocked to Hersheypark Stadium to enjoy live music while surrounded by thousands of other fans.
That quiet streak came to an end Friday night, when country star Luke Bryan marked the official return of concerts to Hersheypark Stadium. The show was Hersheypark Stadiumâs first since Backstreet Boys performed there on September 16, 2019.
Hersheypark Stadium was the second stop of Bryanâs âProud To Be Right Here Tour,â which kicked off in Syracuse, New York, on Thursday. The show was the first concert at a Hershey Entertainment venue since March 12, 2020 due to COVID-19 canceling in-person concerts. The last time Bryan performed at Hersheypark Stadium was June 6, 2019.

“It’s been really exciting to see each one leaf out and emerge from its dormant state,” she said.
She has every reason to be excited – she planted 8,000 native plants, perennials and grasses at the Bower, which is the culmination of several years of work by her and her husband, Bill. It will open to the public on May 1.
