As many as 250 women inmates were vaccinated in the third round on Friday. The vaccination special camp was organised in a joint venture by the state prison department and Project Mumbai, a city-based NGO. “Besides vaccinating 250 women inmates of the Byculla Women’s prison on Friday, 20 jail staffers and 75 male inmates (from Byculla men’s prison and some from the Arthur Road jail) were also vaccinated. The women who got vaccination included three foreign nationals as well,” said Shishir Joshi, CEO and founder of Project Mumbai.
