GUWAHATI: Shishu Sarothi (Center for Rehabilitation and Training for Multiple Disability), a rights-based, non-profit organization based in Guwahati (Assam), in partnership with Indus Towers Ltd. (Formerly Bharti Infratel Ltd), is pleased to announce the 2021-22 ITSP scholarships to be awarded to 120 deserving students with disabilities.
This program is available for students from northeast India who wish to pursue or pursuing higher education in academic& professional courses at levels ranging from Higher Secondary to Post Graduation and others. The scholarship is also offered for students with disabilities from other states in India studying in colleges/ educational institutions/universities located

Guwahati: A special vaccination camp will be held for disabled people, which is being organised by Shishu Sarothi at Birubari, Guwahati on Saturday (May 29).
Since immunization of people in the 18 - 44 age group opened up on May 7, many people with disabilities have approached the organisation for assistance to get vaccinated, as they have faced immense problems in scheduling appointments through the government portals.
