DIMAPUR Indus Towers Ltd., under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) flagship programme ‘Saksham’ and in partnership with Shishu Sarothi, a non-profit organisation based in Assam, has announced scholarships for 2023-24 to 180 students under Indus Towers Scholarship Programme across the Northeast region. An update from Indus Towers Ltd. stated the scholarships would be given to eligible candidates who are pursuing academics/ professional courses at levels ranging from higher secondary to post graduation or vocational/ skill building course. It also informed that young graduates, who are preparing for bank/ government jobs or civil services examinations, could also apply for the scholarship. It informed that out of the 180 scholarships, a few are also reserved for exceptional students from outside Northeast region studying in institutions recognised by government of India.
