Gazprom Neft aviation refuelling business operator Gazpromneft-Aero has begun refuelling international flights to Egyptian tourist destinations, including Sharm El-Sheik and Hurghada, under an agreement with Egypt’s national fuel supplier Misr Petroleum.
This new agreement forms part of a partnership in place with Misr Petroleum since 2009. Over that time total deliveries of aviation fuel for servicing Russian and international air carriers’ flights throughout Egypt’s eight international airports have now reached more than 180,000 tonnes.
