Stolen quadbike recovered after dramatic police chase near Ludgershall A stolen black quadbike has been reclaimed after a dramatic police chase near to Ludgershall, and officers are now appealing for its rightful owner to come forward. The rider had skidded onto Elden Road and then onto a track leading to Sweet Apple Farm, where he abandoned the quad bike and towards trees. PC Sharon Duggan said: We d like to speak with anyone who may have been in the area at this time and has dashcam footage from either direction to or away from Wellington Academy towards Tidworth. Also, if any members of the public in the Eden Road area had any sightings of this person please come forward.
Stolen quad bike recovered by officers POLICE officers are trying to trace the owner of a stolen quad bike. The quad bike was recovered by officers near Tidworth on Monday (January 4). At around 4pm, one of Wiltshire Police s officers was following what was believed to be a stolen quad bike along the A3026 which leads from Tidworth to Wellington Academy Secondary School, Ludgershall. It turned off into Eden Road and onto the un-named track leading up to Sweet Apple Farm. The rider then ran off into a small copse at the end of Eden Road and is believed to have headed in the direction of the A338 along the tank track.
