TWO siblings have raised over £5,000 for East Lancashire Hospice playing carols around the Ribble Valley. Olivia Hurst, 16, and her brother Matthew Hurst, 14, have played 33 half-hour street carolling sessions which have raised £5059 for East Lancs Hospice. The brother and sister could raise even more as they have two more street concerts to go today (December 24), with their final service at Weavers Croft in Billington, where the family live. Mother Cathryn Hurst said: We are so proud of what they’ve done it was all their idea but neither of them expected it to turn out as fabulous as it has. Olivia and Matthews have really enjoyed being back playing and performing for people they are both overwhelmed by the amount they’ve raised and the positive comments they’ve received
