Bengaluru: It was a Nepalese chef who cooked the high-profile Sandalwood drug accused Aditya Alvaâs goose.
When Aditya, the brother-in-law of Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi, realised that his arrest was imminent after an FIR was filed against him by the Central Crime Branch of the Bengaluru police, the accused scooted from Bengaluru to Hyderabad taking along with him Rs 5 lakh in cash and his favourite chef Mahesh Thapa.
Mahesh was one of the chefs working in Adityaâs sprawling âHouse of Lifeâ farmhouse in Hebbal on the outskirts of Bengaluru. The two went by car to Hyderabad and stayed in a hotel initially and later kept shifting to service apartments.

The Central Crime Branch sleuths investigating the Sandalwood drug racket case, have arrested the absconding accused,
Aditya Alva in Chennai, on Monday night. Alva was absconding for four months and the
CCB had issued a lookout notice against him.
The officials produced him before the court through a video conference on Tuesday, and he has been taken to seven days of custody for further questioning. Joint commissioner of police

continuous search and enquiry was conducted and based on information they received, they arrested him from Chennai.

Bengaluru: The Central Crime Branch police of Bengaluru has nabbed Aditya Alva, brother-in-law of Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi, in the Sandalwood drug case.
Confirming the arrest to the media, Bengaluru Joint Police commissioner (Crime) Sandeep Patil said that Aditya Alva, who was absconding for over four months, was arrested on Monday night from Chennai. We were involved in a continuous operation to arrest him. We received a tip-off that he was in Chennai after which a team arrested him, he explained.

Bengaluru: Aditya Alva, an accused in the Sandalwood drug case and brother-in-law of Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi, was arrested by the Bengaluru Crime Branch sleuths Monday night from Chennai.
His four-month run from the law enforcing agencies ended when the Bengaluru police was tipped off on his presence in Chennai. He is the son of late Janata Party leader Jeevaraj Alva.
âAditya Alva, who was absconding for over four months was arrested on Monday night. We were involved in a continuous operation to arrest him. We received a tip that he was in Chennai after which a team arrested him,â Joint Commission of Police (Crime-1), Sandeep Patil told the media.
