The top 50 schools shoes were selected by a panel of 500 people from Vans Shoes and their employees.Thousands of schools entered the contest this year. Danville has now progressed to the voting section of the contest!
The themes for this year were Hometown Pride and Head in the Clouds.The Hometown Pride shoes were to represent things in our town and area that give us pride.The Head in the Cloud shoes were to represent students’ hopes and dreams for the future.
The Grand Prize winner will win $50,000 for their High School Art Program, a concert with food for their school, and a prize package for the students who were involved in making the shoes, up to 20 students.
