Agents of Discovery: An exciting new way to experience Duluth’s parks is coming soon! Agents of Discovery, an educational mobile game app, will turn different parks into fun, safe learning opportunities with detective Missions for you to complete. Third annual Escape the Bong, 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. today, Feb. 12 through Sunday, Feb. 14, 305 E. Second St., Superior. This three day event features four escape rooms to test your puzzle solving skills. Each room is designed for an hour of fun along with a unique mission and experience. A new game begins every 90 minutes. A maximum of 10 people allowed in each room at a time with only players known to each other in a room together; we will not combine multiple groups together to fill a room. We strongly recommend that each group assigns one person to handle booking for everyone. Tickets: $25 for ages 13 and older, $15 for ages 12 and younger. Snowshoe
every Saturday and Sunday through March
with a free snowshoe rental included with any tour. The terrain at Glensheen is mostly flat which makes it a great place for beginners. Guests can explore areas they wouldn’t normally have the opportunity to experience. or didn’t even realize existed at Glensheen. You can snowshoe through a wooded area at the front of the mansion and venture under the Stone Arch Bridge. If safe ice conditions, you can walk across the frozen Tischer Creek and under the famous Stone Arch Bridge. To enhance the grounds exploration experience, there is educational signage across the estate making a snowshoe rental an added perk to a mansion tour. A variety of types and sizes, including kid sizes, are available for use. Tours are only available for purchase onsite at Glensheen. Go to glensheen.org.
