A check by police was negative. At 12:43 p.m. a 911 caller reported a motor vehicle accident with injury on Sweetwater Street. An ambulance took a patient to Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. At 3:03 p.m. a 911 caller reported a vehicle into a pole at the intersection of Walnut Street and Elm Street and three people fled the scene. Officers located the people involved.
