Autopsy shows York man died from gunshot wound to chest

The man who was fatally shot Monday night in York City died from a gunshot wound to the chest, according to an autopsy performed Wednesday.
Timiere Crosby, 27, was shot near his home about 11:45 p.m. Monday in the 800 block of Linden Avenue, according to a news release from the York County Coroner s Office. He died 12:55 a.m. Tuesday at WellSpan York Hospital.
Police are seeking a person of interest and a vehicle potentially connected to Monday night s shooting.
Gregory Adside is wanted for questioning and is not a suspect, police said. York City Police are seeking a white 2007 Volvo XC9 with Pennsylvania license plate LHV-7445.
WellSpan Health launched an online sign-up portal for COVID-19 vaccines on Jan. 19, the same day Pennsylvania expanded the first phase of its vaccine rollout plan. Within 48 hours the health system had scheduled 45,000 appointments and shut down the portal.
Barry Millhouse was able to schedule a February appointment for his 78-year-old mother at WellSpan York Hospital. She was diagnosed with lung cancer in the past year and is considered high-risk.
Before reaching out to WellSpan, Millhouse contacted his motherâs doctors at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health, where she had been previously hospitalized.
Their response left Millhouse frustrated and upset.
He said they told him they werenât going to be administering the vaccine to the public right now and that he should keep watching the news to see when and where to get vaccinated.

This baby girl was born at 12:06 a.m. Friday at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon. She was the first baby born in the New Year in the WellSpan system, and she may very well be the region s first of 2021. (Provided by WellSpan).

A baby girl who came into the world just after midnight in Lebanon may be the region’s first baby born in 2021.
WellSpan Health officials say the child was born at 12:06 a.m. at the WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon. She weighs 7 pounds, 4 ounces and is 20 inches long. The baby is the daughter of Amanda Moyer. No further information was released.

Man pinned under vehicle after slipping on ice dies in York County

Authorities believe a man found pinned under his car left the vehicle in drive when he exited it, then slipped on ice before the vehicle rolled on top of his legs, pinning him under the tire.
It happened in Dover Township Friday. The man died around 1:25 p.m. from his injuries at WellSpan York Hospital.
The man’s name won’t be released until his family is notified, according to the York County Coroner’s Office. His cause of death is multiple blunt force trauma due to an accident.
