QUADPACK: Quadpack sets its sights on China with Yuga partnership QLine packaging range to meet demand for Made in Europe solutions by major Chinese beauty brands The growth of the Chinese cosmetics industry has prompted international beauty packaging manufacturer and provider Quadpack to commence a commercial push into the domestic market. An agreement with long-term partner Yuga, based near Shanghai, will allow Quadpack to offer its QLine range to brands seeking the quality, performance and distinction of products Made in Europe . The move into China is part of Quadpack s 2020-2025 business strategy, which sets out growth plans in each of its key territories of EMEA, the Americas and the Asia-Pacific region. It follows last year s opening of a sales office in Japan and the appointment of Raj Savji as Managing Director - Asia Pacific, to develop Quadpack s presence in the region.

Data firm Vpon snags veterans Joe Nguyen and Basil Chua as consultants Details 23 January 2021 Vpon Big Data Group, a big data company in Asia, has hired Joe Nguyen and Basil Chua as senior consultants to accelerate its Southeast Asia market development and Asia expansion. Both Nguyen (pictured left) and Chua (pictured right) are veterans in media, advertising, data, travel, and eCommerce in the Asia Pacific.  Fresh off a Series C US$40 million investment, Vpon plans to boost its presence in the region. Southeast Asia is home to 583 million people and 400 million Internet users in six countries. It is becoming the economic powerhouse and digital economy growth engine. In post-COVID-19, Southeast Asia’s eCommerce is expected to hit US$172 billion and online media US$35 billion by 2025. Online travel will have the steepest growth of 33% CAGRi.
