Replying to a query from ET, Mahindra & Mahindra’s Veejay Ram Nakra, chief executive officer at automotive business, said the aim is to build a differentiated authentic SUV brand and adapting new innovative ways of marketing is going to be pivotal.
“We have revamped the marketing function to make it more agile and digital focused keeping in mind the new age customer journey. We have brought in distinctive talent with a global mindset. The team will leverage and integrate digital marketing, content creation, CRM and PR to help us meet our objective of creating a differentiated authentic SUV brand, Nakra said.

To offer customers an end-to-end solution
Mahindra & Mahindra on Wednesday said it has signed an MoU with Mahindra MSTC Recycling Private Limited (MMRPL) to offer its customers an end-to-end solution for scrapping their vehicles.
“The agreement with MMRPL will enable customers to get a hassle-free and transparent deal under one roof. Any customer intending to purchase a new Mahindra vehicle by scrapping/exchanging the old vehicle, which is more than 15 years, can do so at any Mahindra dealership,” the company said in a statement. MMRPL is engaged in the business of acquiring used or end-of-life vehicles to dismantle and scrap it under the brand name of CERO. MMRPL is a joint venture between Mahindra Intertrade Ltd and MSTC Ltd, a Government of India enterprise.

MUMBAI, Apr 7: Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) Ltd on Wednesday said it has inked an initial pact with its automotive and steel recycling JV MMRPL to offer its customers an end-to-end solution for vehicle scrapping.
The move comes in the wake of the government last month proposing a policy for vehicle scrapping, under which vehicles that fail fitness tests or are unable to renew registration after 15-20 years of use will be deregistered.
Mahindra MSTC Recycling Private Limited (MMRPL), which is in the business of acquiring used/end of life vehicles to dismantle and scrap them, is a joint venture between Mahindra Intertrade Ltd and MSTC Ltd, a government of India enterprise.
