Indianapolis police confirmed the wanted man was 32-year-old Brandon Shockley, accused of shooting a woman outside Mary Castle Elementary School on Friday afternoon.
Vigo Sheriff s officials said a deputy near mile marker 7 saw the car at about 10:30 p.m. Monday and followed it westbound. Sheriff John Plasse in a statement on Facebook said state police set up tire-deflating stop sticks near the state line, and the Chevrolet Malibu continued into Illinois at a reduced speed.
