A Rochester man could face a felony charge after a Walmart employee required stitches for an injury the man allegedly inflicted after he became upset that the store s customer service desk was not open.
Denard Ellis, 30, was booked into the Olmsted County Adult Detention Center on Tuesday on charges of felony third-degree assault, misdemeanor fifth-degree assault and misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Official charges had not been filed in Olmsted County District Court as of Wednesday afternoon.
Ellis allegedly assaulted a Walmart South employee on the evening of Sunday, June 6. A 53-year-old woman told police she was working when a man approached her about the customer service desk.
She was last seen leaving Walmart South on US Hwy 41 in Terre Haute on April 29.
Nascimbene was last seen driving a 2018 Black Nissan Pathfinder with license plate number UEI876. The vehicle has minor damage all around and has a pink star decal on the rear window.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) Ben s Soft Pretzels of Terre Haute located in the Walmart South location we will celebrate National Pretzel Day next week.
From 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, customers will have the opportunity to receive a free pretzel with a minimum $1 donation to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes fund.
All proceeds from the donations go to help soldiers with traumatic brain injuries.
