FOX CROSSING, WI (WTAQ) – A Fox Crossing man who called in his girlfriend’s death is now being charged in connection to her murder.
26-year-old Phillip Dellar reportedly called police on Sunday, July 25th and told the dispatcher that someone came into his apartment and stabbed his girlfriend. Responding officers found 30-year-old Leianna Mule unresponsive in the Valley Road apartment. Life-saving measures were unsuccessful. Dellar was also taken to St. Elizabeth’s hospital for wounds he had sustained during the incident.
Following an extensive investigation involving Wisconsin Crime Lab and State Patrol assistance, Dellar was taken into custody on Friday. He is being held in the Winnebago County Jail on one count of 1st Degree Intentional Homicide.

ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) In an updated press release on Sunday, the Brown County Sheriffâs Office says they are still actively working to get eyewitness statements of the shooting at the Radisson Hotel Saturday night.
Brown County says it will not be releasing names of the suspect, victims, or officers involved.
A news conference is scheduled for Monday at 10 a.m. outside the Brown County Sheriffâs Office building.
The Sheriffâs office is asking anyone that was direct eyewitnesses of the incident who has not yet spoken to authorities to contact Lt. Brian Slinger at 920-448-4229.
