(KELO.com) At 5:25 a.m. Thursday, Sioux Falls Fire Rescue was dispatched to a report of a structure on fire at the corner of 9 th Street and Fairfax Avenue. Sioux Falls Police Department was the first on scene are reported visible flames from a detached garage. The first arriving fire engines found flames on the exterior of a two stall residential garage. The first crew on scene quickly extinguish the exterior fire. Another crew then confirmed there was no one inside the garage and that the fire did not extend into the interior. There was extensive fire damage to the exterior of one wall of the garage and light smoke damage inside. No injuries were reported as a result of the fire. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
