Schoolchildren at Edge Grove took part in a sponsored walk Schoolchildren have raised more than £6,000 for a children s hospice. Braving the cold and damp conditions, pupils at Edge Grove Preparatory School in Aldenham took part in a sponsored welly walk. Those in pre-school took on a 2km walk around Aldenham, while year 1 and 2 children went on a more challenging 4km walk around the school s grounds.
