Schoolchildren at Edge Grove took part in a sponsored walk
Schoolchildren have raised more than £6,000 for a children's hospice.
Braving the cold and damp conditions, pupils at Edge Grove Preparatory School in Aldenham took part in a sponsored welly walk.
Those in pre-school took on a 2km walk around Aldenham, while year 1 and 2 children went on a more challenging 4km walk around the school's grounds.
The wintry walks raised thousands of pounds for Noah's Ark Children's Hospice, based in Barnet,
The hospice provide clinical, emotional and practical support to families across north and London and Hertsmere.
