Council Vice President Lance Lehmann made the motion to dismiss the comments finding no evidence to support the complaints. The council spent about an hour in executive session discussing the nearly 100 complaints filed in December that charged Armstrong with harming local businesses by helping post a Facebook page that identified businesses that required masks and those that didn’t.

Rapid City Fire Department is getting a new ladder truck worth nearly $1 million

RAPID CITY, S.D. The Rapid City Common Council has approved the purchase of a new truck, the formal name: “aerial fire apparatus.” There’s a ladder on top of the truck that allows for elevated water streams and rescues. This new model can also transport more and larger equipment that an average fire engine can not. RCFD is not sure.
