The critically acclaimed
13th director took to Twitter to celebrate and shared a new look at Kaci Walfall’s titular hero, as well as a few behind the scenes shots. DuVernay wrote the script for the series alongside Jill Blankenship, while the pilot was directed and co-executive produced by Amanda Marsalis.
