Man breached court order by going to ex s home

By Advertiser Reporter Swindon Crown Court A dad-of-two who breached a non-molestation order within weeks of its imposition was spared a prison sentence. Liam Knapman claimed he’d been invited to his former partner’s home around four times after the civil court order was imposed last March. But Judge Jason Taylor QC said the 24-year-old had been “stupid” to accept any invitation by the woman as it was “his head that’s on the block”. Prosecutor Charles Digby told Swindon Crown Court that Knapman’s former partner had obtained the non-molestation order in March 2020. On April 17 – a month after the order was imposed - he was said to have gone to her home mid-morning and stayed for the rest of the day.
