LOCAL COVID-19 VACCINATION UPDATE

May 10, 2021 | 7:23 AM (OLNEY) The Richland County TB & Health Office in Olney will have COVID-19 walk-in vaccination clinics for the remaining three Thursdays in May at the TB&H Office on Whittle Avenue in Olney. That’s each Thursday with the Johnson & Johnson single dose available from 8:30 to 10:30 each morning and the Moderna first or second dose each afternoon from 1:00 to 5:00. These Thursday vaccinations are available for anyone age 18 and older with no appointment needed. Those planning to utilize these Thursday walk-in clinics in Olney can speed up the process by bringing their ID, insurance card, and a completed consent form. The Council : agreed to amend the City of Olney Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 2021 for capital expenditures : approved the Fiscal Year 2022 Annual Budget as presented : held a public hearing on the possible closure of the CSX Linn Street railroad crossing, but no action after a citizen’s petition was submitted to the Council opposing the closure : adopted a resolution for the City of Olney’s MFT Street Program : held a public hearing for a taxicab license request and then after discussion later approved the license request : agreed to seek out options to save the historical fountain in the Olney City Park : discussed, but took no action on boating regulations on East Fork Lake : approved a Class S Liquor License for a one night event at The Fireside and the related closure of Whittle Avenue on May 22nd, 2021 : approved the re-appointmen
