NY lawmakers want probe of how Cuomo also ordered homes for disabled to accept coronavirus patients

Andrew Cuomo’s (D) administration could face another investigation as state lawmakers consider probing an in-tact April directive requiring group homes for the disabled to accept recovering coronavirus patients. Specifically, Serino’s motion would have compelled NYS Health Commissioner Howard A. Zucker to appear before the Aging Committee to give testimony and provide all written and electronic books and records related to COVID-19 in nursing homes and residential healthcare facilities and the fatalities related to the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus in those facilities since the start of the pandemic in Marc
