Washington, Ozaukee counties; COVID vaccine clinic held June 3 By FOX6 News Digital Team Published  article WEST BEND, Wis. - The last Washington Ozaukee Public Health Department vaccination clinic will be held at Washington County Fair Park on Thursday, June 3.  Walk-in appointments for the Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be available between 9:30 am. and 12:00 p.m. in the Ziegler building at Washington County Fair Park: 3000 County Hwy PV, West Bend.  Anyone age 18 and older are eligible to receive the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine. The vaccine is free of cost for everyone, regardless of insurance coverage.  The Pfizer vaccine will be available for people ages 12 and older on Thursday, June 3rd from 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Vineyard Church, 1597 County Hwy V, Grafton. Walk-in or sign up.

In partnership with Oasis Healthcare and Midland Health, three new Moderna vaccination options will be available on Monday, May 17 and Tuesday, May 18. All three Moderna clinics are free and open to anyone age 18 and older, regardless of health insurance status. Kewaskum School District to host Pfizer vaccine clinic May 15 for anyone 12+ KEWASKUM, Wis. (CBS 58) Kewaskum School District will host a Pfizer COVID-19 vaccination clinic for anyone 12 and older on Saturday, May 15.  The clinic will be held at i4Learning Community School, located at 5760 Mohawk Road in Campbellsport, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Pfizer is currently the only COVID-19 vaccine that has been approved for children ages 12 -17. Registration is encouraged, CLICK HERE. Walk-ins will also be accepted. According to a news release from the Washington-Ozaukee Public Health Department, residents that need transportation to a vaccine clinic in Washington County can receive a free ride to and from their appointments by calling Transit Services in Washington County. Wheelchair accessible vehicles are available upon request. Washington County residents can schedule a ride through Shared Ride Taxi by calling 262-338-2908.

Meuler shared his story by stating the number of law enforcement officers who have died due to coronavirus. “This past year over 3,600health care workers, and over 400 law enforcement officers have died due to COVID, he said.
