George S. Kuhlman, 81, of Seaford passed away peacefully in his sleep Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at his home. He was born Sept. 29, 1939, in Seaford, son of the late Henry and Helen Kuhlman.
Mr. Kuhlman was an electrician by trade, contributing many dedicated years to the DuPont Company. He was a proud member of the Army National Guard, serving for seven years. His National Guard unit was called in to help evacuate those trapped during the infamous 1962 nor easter. Mr. Kuhlman loved the outdoors, enjoying everything nature had to offer, particularly hunting, fishing and cruising the seas. He knew no stranger, striking up conversations with anyone with whom he crossed paths.

Denise Marie (Soukup) Berilla, 71, of Lewes Beach died peacefully in her sleep Monday, April 19, 2021. She was born Dec. 1, 1949, in Maynard, Ohio.
Denise was one of five daughters, and from an early age, loved grocery shopping with her mom Anne. Her love of food and cooking only grew. She went to college and earned a bachelor of science in home economics from The Ohio State University. Denise met the love of her life, David, during college, and he courted her in his GTO and white socks. They were married in 1970.
They moved to Springfield, Ohio, and had their first daughter Anna, and within three years moved to Gunnison, Colo., where their second daughter, Jennifer, was born. Denise rejoiced in being a mother and making a home. She was a seamstress and would make her daughters matching clothes and husband a matching tie with the leftover material. On Thursday, April 15, 2021, James (Jimmy) Murray Lehman, loving uncle, cousin and friend, passed away at the age of 65. Jimmy was born Aug. 27, 1956, in Lewes, son of the late James and Doris (Mitchell) Lehman.
Jimmy received his nursing degree from Delaware Technical Community College and practiced as a Registered Nurse throughout his life. In 1996, he was joined in a civil union with his life partner, Mike Dalton, whom he loved dearly. Jimmy loved nursing and all the friends he made working as a nurse. Caring for others was not only his occupation, but his passion. He was an avid reader and music lover. Jimmy was known for his kind and compassionate spirit.
