(WFIE) - Warrick County Animal Control is sharing video of people who dumped a dog Wednesday night, during a rainstorm. Shortly after animal control made the post late Thursday morning, they updated it to say the owner had made contact with them. Officials say the video shows a white or silver Ford Explorer arriving around 8 p.m. You can see people pull a young pit mix up to a post, tie it up, then drive off. Officials are reminding the public that it is illegal to dump any animal.

(WFIE) - The Biden Administration is set to launch the largest summer food program in U.S. history. According to the Biden Administration, the plan is to help around 34 million low-income children. [ The plans include providing qualifying students about $375 to buy food for the roughly ten weeks that they’re out of school. Students who already get free or reduced-price meals, or those children under six years old in a household that qualifies for SNAP benefits, will be eligible.

This brings the total in the Hoosier state to 716,306 confirmed cases and 12,883 total deaths. One of Tuesday’s new deaths was in Gibson Co. The state map shows five new cases in Vanderburgh County, two new cases in Dubois County, six new case in Warrick County, zero new cases in Perry County, zero new cases in Posey County, five new cases in Gibson County, one new case in Spencer County, and zero new cases in Pike County.
