Whether you are a small business, a national corporation with a footprint in the area, work from home, or if you are a nonprofit, belonging to a Chamber of Commerce makes sense in order to remain informed, resilient and competitive. As the area’s premier business advocacy organization, the Waterbury Regional Chamber, and our two affiliates, the Naugatuck Chamber and the Watertown Oakville Chamber, have been a driving force, a valuable resource, an important network and a promotional vehicle for its members since our founding in 1889. All together, we serve more than 900 members across more than 14 towns in the region and the state.

WATERTOWNÂ â New Town Manager Mark Raimo has a vision for the future of Watertown, and he shared that vision with members of the Watertown Oakville Chamber of Commerce during a virtual âmeet and greetâ on Wednesday, December 9.
Mr. Raimo began by quoting the townâs new mission statement, adopted by the Town Council just two days before: âIn Watertown, we strive to be Litchfield Countyâs most citizen/employee centric town. We seek to be a town where citizens, businesses and employees are valued; where all can count on efficient services, fiscal responsibility, engaging schools and a safe community.â
Mr. Raimo outlined a few of the initiatives he hopes to implement within the first few months of his administration, including an update to the townâs website and the creation of a new Facebook page to better inform residents and business owners of some of the wonderful things happening in town.
