Two women are accused of stealing thousands of dollars of Target and True Religion merchandise that included clothes and baby formula, according to the Vacaville Police Department s Facebook post.   Vacaville police said they arrested Coreneshia Brooks, 25, and Jazell Young, 25, after finding 80 pairs of stolen jeans, 43 of which were from Levi s and 37 of which were from True Religion. Police said the True Religion jeans alone retailed for over $8,700. They also found stolen baby formula, children s clothing and over-the-counter medicine that totaled over $4,500. 

K-9 removed from home of officer filmed punching it

A Facebook video showed a police officer in Vacaville, California, punching his canine partner in the face. The person who filmed the video said the officer punched the dog repeatedly before he started filming, SFGate reported. The Vacaville Police Department said that the dog was removed from the officer s care and that the dog became aggressive before the officer hit it. It did not name the officer. The canine partner of a police officer in Vacaville, California, was removed from the officer s care after he was filmed punching the dog during a training exercise, the Vacaville Police Department said on Facebook on Tuesday.
