J-K: Polio vaccination drive begins in Doda district ANI | Updated: Feb 01, 2021 09:08 IST
Doda (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], February 1 (ANI): The polio vaccination drive began in Jammu and Kashmir s Doda district on Sunday as part of the National Polio Immunisation Programme in which children in the age group of 0-5 years will be administered polio drops following COVID-19 protocols. Today (Sunday) we started the Pulse Polio vaccination programme and vaccination on booth level took place here. There are 71,000 beneficiaries in our district in which children between 0-5 years will get vaccines. Vaccination is being done in 523 booths and a door-to-door campaign will take place for the next two days, said Dr Sagar D Doifode, District Development Commissioner, Doda.
IFFCO has brought laurels to the co-op sector once again by receiving highest tax payer award, which was given by the customs department at Deendayal Port Trust Kandla, Gujarat. The award contained a Citation Plaque.

Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT), Indiaâs premier container port, is engaged in developing a multi-product Special Economic Zone (SEZ), an initiative under the Sagarmala program of the union government. It is built on JNPT free hold land of 277 hectares at Navi Mumbai.
The work of developing the draft development proposal for the JNPT SEZ area was underway as per the laid down procedure of the Urban Development Department, government of Maharashtra. The draft development proposal was put up for objections and suggestions from the public during the period of December 3, 2020 to January 1, 2021. On January 15, a five-member committee, headed by Unmesh Sharad Wagh, IRS, Deputy Chairman, JNPT, heard out the suggestions received from M/S NSBPPL with regards to the draft DCPR. The virtual edition of the 41st India Carpet Expo 2021 was inaugurated on Wednesday with close to 200 member exporters showcasing their collection of Indian handmade carpets.
Touted as Asia’s largest carpet expo, the platform aims to cater to the demand of such carpets in emerging economies in the post pandemic era. Held bi-annually to focus on the cultural heritage of Indian handmade carpets, floor coverings and promoting Indian weaving skills to overseas carpet buyers, the fair attracts buyers all across the globe.
