CANTON A Jackson Township man is facing eight felony charges after investigators said they stopped a car he was driving and found drugs and guns.
Justin M. Sullivan, 38, of Revere Avenue NW, was arrested around 2 a.m. Dec. 27 by troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
According to the Canton patrol post, troopers stopped a Buick LeSabre traveling on Tuscarawas Street W without its headlights on.
The patrol said the driver provided false information and appeared impaired, so troopers had him step out of the car. The driver resisted when troopers tried to search him, they said.
Sullivan is accused of carrying a loaded gun, suspected cocaine and counterfeit money. Troopers said they found two more guns, methamphetamine and marijuana inside the vehicle.
