SAN ANGELO A San Angelo man has been indicted months after a person was ran off the road while driving and almost ran over, according to court documents released Monday.
About 6 p.m. Feb. 2, 2021, police arrived in the 5000 block of North Bryant Boulevard to a crash. A 1999 Chevrolet car struck a business s metal fence. A pole had gone through the car s front windshield and out the back passenger side window, injuring the driver s head, records state.
The driver, who was bleeding from the back of his head, told officers he had left a Walmart and was traveling northbound on Bryant. As he headed toward the Chadbourne Street exit, he noticed a white pickup accelerating behind him, according to the arrest affidavit.

Investigators say the shooting happened Thursday night during a drug deal, according to an arrest affidavit.
On Thursday, Feb. 25, 2021, police arrived at an apartment complex in the 3300 block of North Bryant Boulevard where they found the body of Rey Robles, who died from trauma believed to be the result of being shot with a firearm, according to an arrest affidavit.
Justice of the Peace Susan Werner declared Robles deceased and ordered an autopsy.

People who were in the apartment during the shooting told police Robles arrived at the apartment to buy marijuana, and while there, asked the marijuana be weighed before purchasing it, according to arrest affidavits.
