Nordex has won a turbine order totalling 72MW for the repowering of Dirkshof s Reussenkoege citizen wind farm in Germany.
Reussenkoege will feature 20 N117/3600 3.6MW machines with 91-metre hub heights, which will replace the existing 2MW units.
The deal also includes a premium service contract for five years with a three-time option to extend by a further five years.
The wind farm is located in North Friesland near to the North Sea coast.
Installation will start this year with commissioning of the last turbine scheduled for 2022.
