Officials seek help looking for missing Midway man

SALT LAKE CITY A Silver Alert has been canceled for a Midway man who was previously reported missing on Wednesday afternoon. The Wasatch County Sheriff s Office had been looking for Robert Leeland Morgan, 92. He had last been seen at 782 Double Eagle Drive around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, wearing a black quarter-zip sweater and black pants, and possibly a black USC hat. The silver alert issued for Morgan was canceled just after 7 a.m. Thursday, according to the Utah Department of Public Safety. Morgan was found about 7 a.m. Thursday in the Alta-Snowbird area in Salt Lake County, according to a Facebook post from the sheriff s office. He was involved in a minor traffic accident, but was not injured and has been reunited with his family, the post said.

2 Wasatch High School students arrested after classmate says they threatened the school

HEBER CITY Two Wasatch High School students were arrested Saturday on suspicion of making terroristic threats against the Heber City school. The arrested students made concerning statements to a classmate on Friday, and that classmate told his parents who then went to the police, according to a joint statement from the Wasatch County School District, Heber City Police and the Wasatch County Sheriff s Office. The two students were taken into custody by a school resource officer and transferred to a juvenile detention center. They are charged with felony threats of terrorism and threats against a school, a misdemeanor. Classes at Wasatch High will resume as normal Monday morning, the statement says, as officials have determined there is no ongoing threat. The students were taken into custody by resource officers Saturday, following statements made to another student about a possible threat against the school on Friday.
