Op zondag 6 juli van 12.00 tot 17.00 uur organiseerde de MaxKringloopwinkel in de Jacob Loisstraat wederom een ‘Weggeefdag’ voor de minst bedeelde bewoners in de stad.
Burgemeester Aboutaleb heeft recent deze winkel bezocht en juicht dit initiatief van harte toe. Ook zorgt deze Kringloopwinkel de laatste tijd voor werkgelegenheid voor jongeren in samenwerking met de gemeente Rotterdam.
Zo’n twee maanden geleden startte de MaxKringloopwinkel in de Provenierswijk met de eerste Weggeefdag. Dat werd een groot succes met enkele honderden bezoekers die meestal iets van hun gading vonden.
Op de Weggeefdag, afgelopen zondag 6 juli, kreeg iedere bezoeker een lot. Voor de winnaar lag aan het einde van de dag een check ter waarde van 250 euro die in de winkel te besteden was.
