At least 11 locations have been identified for the first round of face-to-face public consultations on the proposed Police Bill. The consultations on the proposed Police Bill will start on Monday at the Lomaiviti Provincial Council Hall in Levuka from 12 pm to 4 pm. Other sessions will be held at Serua Provincial Council Hall, Sabeto Village, Keiyasi Village, Nacula Village, Ba Khatria Hall, and Vunimono Hall. Fiji Law Society president William Clarke said a proper consultation is needed as it would ensure citizens have an opportunity to make their submissions in person.
