Rotorua and Tauranga Lotto players among the prizes

Nine Lotto players, including two from Bay of Plenty, will be celebrating after each winning $19,806 with Lotto Second Division.
One winner from Tauranga bought their ticket on the MyLotto app while one in Rotorua bought theirs from the Lucky Lotto Shop in the Rotorua CBD.
One player also won Powerball Second Division, taking their total winnings to $29,934. The winning Powerball Second Division ticket was sold at Nelson City New World in Nelson.

In Raglan, a liquor store and surf shop were both ram raided before another car was allegedly stolen from Greenwood St in Hamilton. This car was driven to Auckland where another ram raid allegedly occurred in Karaka, before three people were arrested. It is unclear the age of the people arrested and if they are linked to all the ram raids.

Super Clearance, Morrinsville, was another shop targeted in a spate of ram raids overnight. Super Clearance owner Seema Reni said they live out the back of the shop and heard the smash. They thought it was further down the street from their store, but when she heard the noise again she knew it was in their shop.
