Two people died Saturday after a vehicle plummeted several hundred feet down an embankment off Route 309 in Butler Twp., township police said.
A preliminary investigation revealed that a Tesla driven by Crystal Stash, 35, of Dallas, and occupied by Henry H. Abrahams IV, 28, of Stanhope, New Jersey, was traveling north on Route 309 just past Drasher Road at around 7:30 p.m. Saturday when Stash lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a curve in the road, police said.
The vehicle crossed into the opposite lane, struck a guiderail and became airborne before plummeting several hundred feet down an embankment just south of Sleepy Hollow Road.

Attorney Lawrence M. Klemow, aka âPapa,â 76, of Sugarloaf Twp. died early Tuesday morning at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Hazleton surrounded by his family. He died from complications of COVID-19.
Larry was born in Hazleton to Grace and Phillip Klemow. He married the love of his life, his high school sweetheart, Marion Novotnak, and continued to share a wonderful life together. Larry was a graduate of Hazleton High School, Drexel University and Temple Law school.
A lawyer, Larry started his career as an assistant district attorney in Luzerne County and became first assistant district attorney. He was in private practice for many years and finished his career as a senior law clerk, also at Luzerne County, from which he retired in 2018.
