Dennis, 47, is seeking one of two Luzerne County judicial seats open in his yearâs election. She will appear on both the Democrat and Republican ballot in Mayâs primary election.
Dennis said sheâs practiced all aspects of the law during her 23-year career and feels like her experience makes her uniquely qualified.
âAt this point in my career, Iâm confident and comfortable asking voters for their vote,â Dennis said. âRunning for judge was not a split-second decision for me.
Luzerne County Councilman Walter Griffith has proposed two amendments to the county charter that he wants to see on the May 18 primary ballot for voters to consider.
