READERS were not impressed by the discovery of a dead jellyfish the size of a large boot, found on the shores of Wadhead Scar near Bardsea. The clear jellyfish was discovered by an Ulverston resident during a walk on the beach on Wednesday afternoon. Claire Purcell said: “Not that shocking, they live in the sea.” Pete Birtles-Smith said: “A jellyfish the size of a large boot.
