St. Joseph Post The St. Joseph Mustangs will kick off their 12th season with the annual Fan Fest celebration on Tuesday, June 1 at Phil Welch Stadium – one day before the season opener. Food specials, national anthem tryouts, batting practice and autographs will highlight the event, and admission will be free. Fans will have the chance to meet players and get autographs from the entire 2021 roster following the completion of batting practice. “This will be many of our players’ first opportunity to get on the field, and experience the incredible support of the community,” said Mustangs general manager Ky Turner in a release. “We’ll have concessions open, music on the speakers and live interviews. This is really going to be a fun event, and it’s entirely free. We are just excited to welcome back everyone to the stadium.”
