EAST LIVERPOOL The St. Clair Township police department apparently just had enough of the Grinch’s antics, so the green one found himself standing in court Wednesday before East Liverpool Municipal Court Judge Dominic Frank.
“Mr. Grinch, we are here today because you stole Christmas and were mean to children,” Judge Frank explains to the defendant, who was accompanied by his defense attorney Joe King.
A green hermit with an unnatural hatred of all things Christmas, the Grinch has made a name for himself for more than the last six decades by plotting to ruin Christmas by sneaking out disguised as Santa Claus, so he can steal all the presents, according to his rap sheet.

LISBON A Dec. 21 preliminary hearing was set for Codey A. Mobley, 26, Chester Avenue, Wellsville, charged with burglary, a second-degree felony, and domestic violence, a fourth-degree felony. Mobley is additionally scheduled for arraignment today on a second-degree felony charge of escape and two counts of resisting arrest. He is currently being held in the jail on $100,000 cash or surety bond and was ordered to have no contact with Sarah Berdine or to go to Independence Square in Wellsville.
Austin A. Angeli, 33, Jefferson Avenue, Salem, was found competent to stand trial and waived his right to a preliminary hearing for a first-degree felony burglary charge and a misdemeanor assault charge. Angeli was previously ordered to have no contact with anyone from a Vine Avenue, Salem, address.

EAST LIVERPOOL The Former Canal Winchester man, previously known in East Liverpool as ‘John Doe,’ was arrested again Friday in the East Liverpool area.
According to police, Aundarcio E. Jackson was the subject of a routine traffic stop at 3:14 a.m. in the area of state Route 39, heading towards Chester, W.Va. on state Route 39 before eventually pulling over near a trailer park off of U.S. Route 30 on the right side. There he made a U-turn before heading back on Route 30 towards the Chester exit, where Jackson allegedly crashed his vehicle and led Chester police on a foot pursuit on Chester Avenue.
