Better late than never! I figured Isan Díaz would be an ideal candidate to take part in the
full winter ball season, making up for time missed over the summer due to opt out and injury, and helping him get into a good rhythm entering 2021. Instead, he was activated for the first time by Criollos de Caguas on Wednesday. He’ll debut with them in the league semifinals (best-of-7 series that begins Saturday).

Jarren Duran started the week hot, going 4 for 9 with four runs, a double, and four RBI over the first two games of the week. After struggling to start the season, those two games raised his average to .289. However, Duran again struggled after his return from the two-day Christmas break, going 0 for 7 over the weekend with four strikeouts and two walks. His season average returned to .250 to start the week, but his on-base percentage remains strong at .405.
