Public Notices: Highcliffe Recreation Ground to be transferred to Parish Council

A BOURNEMOUTH recreation ground and two play areas will be transferred to the Highcliffe and Walkford Parish Council. BCP Council confirmed in a public notice that Highcliffe Recreation Ground in Lymington Road, along with the two play areas at Bluebell Close and Mudeford Wood would be transferred to the parish council. The notice said: “BCP Council is proposing to transfer the whole of the Highcliffe Recreation Ground, Lymington Road, Highcliffe together with the two play areas at Bluebell Close and Mudeford Wood, Pipers Drive, Highcliffe to the Highcliffe and Walkford Parish Council. “The intention is that these areas will continue to be used as a recreation ground and play areas, but the parish council will be responsible for these areas instead of BCP Council.

Bryant Pharmacy in Ashley Road, Poole, offering vaccinations

A PHARMACY in Poole is the latest to offer the Covid-19 vaccination. Bryant Pharmacy in Ashley Road, Parkstone joins two other pharmacies in Wallisdown and Christchurch offering vaccinations to vulnerable residents. Jabs at the site started yesterday, Thursday February 4, but people have been warned to stay away until they are invited. Meanwhile patients over 70 at the Highcliffe Medical Centre have been urged to call the surgery to make an appointment for a vaccination. A spokesman for the Bryant Pharmacy said: People are asked not just turn up and ask for a jab as you could be delaying the vaccination process and disrupting the flow of those patients who are most vulnerable.

Baker who used his loaf is a lockdown success

He s a professional hotelier and caterer by trade who at 27 was general manager of the catering side of the Cambridge Science Park.  Gary has run his own hotel and restaurant besides being head chef at Sandy Balls holiday camp in the New Forest.
